"Department Codes" plays a big role
in ProServe II, this is the TOP level of the Personnel Tree of your company.
A "Route Code" is assigned to a Department.
A "Service Code" is assigned to a Department.
A "Form Style" is assigned to a Department. (this allows for
different forms for each department)
A "Technician Code" is assigned up to Five Routes
Salesman and CSRusers are not assigned to any codes.
When setting up a Service for a customer, that "Service"
determines the "Route" selection
that Route selection then determines the "Technician"
selection. (see Automatic Creation)
The "Route, Technician, Service, Salesman and CSRuser" screens are
the same as this one.
