Compatibility This e-mail feature offers two types of MAPI (Messaging Application Programming Interface) functions or interfaces. ** MAPI Type
Default - Extended MAPI is the default and should be used if you have no problems using it. Your email client application must be ExtendedMAPI compatible to work with this type.
There are two types of MAPI implementations, SimpleMAPI and ExtendedMAPI. ExtendedMAPI uses MAPI as an actual messaging engine. It allows my product to send email directly to your email client. That includes attachments, multiple recipients, To, Cc and Bcc in Text or HTML without any security prompts from your e-mail client. Outlook 2000, 2003 or 2007 supports Extended MAPI. Not sure about other email products, but Extended MAPI is what you want to look for.
ActiveX - Simple MAPI is an alternate option for those using Outlook Express, Windows Mail or others. This option has all the features as the Default - Extended MAPI above with a few exceptions; a) This type does not allow sending HTML code as the message body (for now). b) Does not suppress the built in security prompts from your e-mail client like the Default does. (for now) c) Importance option is ignored, defaults to LOW Importance.
2) System will now verify the post date while posting payments, confirming and posting shipments within a 10 day window. The system will warn you with an option to continue if the post date is greater than 10 days of today's date.
